1.    Cut Back on Sugars

You can stop or lessen your intake of sugar sources such as sweetened coffee and beverages, cakes, chocolates, flavored cereals, syrups, regular milk, etc. Incorporate whole and unprocessed foods in your daily diet instead. 4.    Get a Proper Sleep

You may not know it but sleep deprivation makes you fat. In a study conducted by researchers at the University of Chicago, people who get less than four hours of sleep per night have a slower metabolism than those who completes the 8-hr standard.

Moreover, hunger is controlled by two hormones: leptin and ghrelin. The less leptin produced, the more the stomach feels empty whereas the production of more ghrelin stimulates hunger while reducing the amount of calories burned and increasing the amount of fat stored. However, sleep deprivation triggers the area of the brain that increases the need for food while also depressing leptin and stimulating ghrelin.

5.    Load Up on Water

Drinking lots of water can help you shed unwanted pounds. It burns calories because everytime you eat or drink, your body has to work (burn calories) to process whatever’s coming in. Moreover, consuming lots of it every two hours or so will make you feel full without consuming high-calorie snacks and beverages like juices and milk. Another tip is to load up on a glass or two of water before every meal to make you feel full thus; you’ll eat less.
