Palace On Wheels is a luxurious train that takes you on a trip around Rajasthan, Agra, Delhi and other important places. It is a royal styled train journey that fits kings. This trip is not available throughout the year. It is only available during the peak tourism season. This train does not operate from May to August.
Tour dates and months
Every tour is for 7 nights and eight days. Usually there will be four tours every month and rarely five tours. Each tour ends by 8th day morning in New Delhi railway station and the next tour starts on the same day by evening in the same railway station.
January 2016
The first tour of the year starts on 06 Jan 2016 and ends by 13-Jan-2016. The next trip starts on the same day and ends by 20 Jan 2016. The last trip of the month is on 27 Jan 2016.

There are totally four tours in this month. The last tour of January ends on 3rd February. The first trip of the month is on the same day. It ends on 10th of the month. The next trip is on 17th of the month and the last trip starts on 24th of February.

The summer season starts from May in India. Due to the very hot temperature and other factors, tourists usually do not prefer to visit India from May to end of August. The last tour of April ends on 3rd of May and the train tour stops for four months from there.
September 2016
The mild monsoon starts in India and the tourism season also begins. The first tour of this month will start on 7th.
